A: Huggett Sod Farm only offers delivery of its sod. We highly recommend you have a qualified landscaper there to lay your sod for you.

A:  Huggett Sod Farm sod is cut daily from our fields during the coolest part of the early day/night, and the sod being delivered to customers is less than 24 hours old that has been cut from the field. This is why it's imperative to lay the sod as soon as you get it. It's a living organism and needs water and soil to thrive. 

A:  If you know when you are needing sod, call us three days ahead of time so we can get it  scheduled for our trucking. Otherwise, 24 hours in advance is what we ask for. We cut Monday through Friday. You can also pick up your order at our farm instead of it being delivered. Orders that can be picked up at our farm must be picked up before 4 pm that day. 

A:  Yes, we deliver our freshly harvested sod on one of our five semis that make deliveries to all of Michigan, Ohio down to Finley, Ohio and parts of Indiana. We calculate from our farm to your location that you want the sod delivered.  We will deliver one pallet of sod. However, if you are under 4,000 sq ft, there is a $65.00-dollar small drop fee.  

A: We sell sod by the square foot. You will need to measure the area to calculate the square footage. We do recommend buying slightly over due to cutting and waste.
